Being a new start-up with a limited budget, we needed to maximize every dollar we could and at the same time not sacrifice on the quality and speed of our development. We researched many options including both in house and outsourced development. We had the usual hesitations of working with an offshore developer but in the end, after many recommendations, we chose SecureNext. A key factor in this decision is the fact that we were able to close the agreement with a US based office, this gave us a comfort level that we didn’t have with many others.
We quickly realized we made the right choice. The SecureNext development team brought a deep technical knowledge to the table as well as the ability to quickly grasp new concepts, such as Facebook applications, and implement them. The team was quick to respond to changes in design and any bugs that creped in were quickly patched. Management was always open to communication and very responsive to issues that came up, for example giving us more development hours during a particular crunch time. The team as a whole made a great effort to really understand our product and market and make suggestions as to features and design that we may have overlooked.
